How To Make your own wedding bouquets & buttonholes

If you would like to make your own natural, eco friendly style wedding bouquets and buttonholes, then this workshop is a great way to learn how to make a hand tied bouquet and have fun in the process!
The intention of this workshop is to give you all the skills to make the flowers for the bride, bridesmaid, groom, best man and ushers.
Helen, the owner of Balsham House Flowers, will teach you the techniques of arranging your flowers and then you will learn to make a hand tied bouquet and quick, easy buttonholes. Helen will also give you advice on where to source your flower material to achieve your natural look and most importantly, how to stick to your budget. This course is a great half day out to bring family and friend so that they can help you make the bouquets. It’s also a nice way to involve the wedding party. It’s a fun day out and is pure escapism!
Details of the Half Day
10.00am An introduction to natural, eco friendly flowers and the different styles of bouquets.
10.15am Helen will demonstrate how to make a hand tied bouquet.
10.30am A walk round the cutting garden to see the types of flowers and foliage can be used from your own garden.
11.00am Students will then make their own hand tied bouquets to take home.
11.30am Buttonholes making
12.00pm Ribbons and streamers for your bouquet and how to keep the bouquet fresh before the wedding
12.30pm Finish with questions. Students will take home a set of notes and their bouquets and buttonholes
